BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Four members of the WKU Men’s Golf team have been named Cobalt Golf All-American Scholars for this past season. This award was voted on by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). This honor comes following a historic season for the WKU Men’s Golf program under first-year Head Coach Austin King.
This honor was given to 531 Division 1 Golfers across 180 different programs. To qualify for this honor, a player must be a sophomore, junior, or senior on the course and in the classroom. They must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and maintain a stroke average under 76.0 at the Division 1 level.

Fuller claimed the first individual CUSA Championship in program history this past year. He would go on to compete in the West Lafayette NCAA Regional where his historic season would conclude. The 2024 CUSA All-Conference First Team member earned his graduate certificate in organizational leadership this past academic year.
Following his great final year on The Hill, Connery Meyer earned this prestigious award. Meyer maintained a 71.0 stroke average for the year and showed tremendous leadership on the course for the Red and White. Meyer led the Tops to their first tournament victory since the spring of 2016 at the Xavier Invitational after a runner-up finish. The Georgia native majored in management and held a 3.43 GPA.
Redshirt junior Nic Hofman was named to the team following his outstanding season on The Hill. Hofman finished his season with a 73.3 stroke average, which was fourth on the team. The Indiana native finished his year with a pair of top-10 finishes, including a fourth-place finish at the Xavier Invitational. Nic is a marketing major and finished the year with a 3.43 GPA.
The final Hilltopper named to the list was junior Stephen Warren. Warren, a member of the 2024 CUSA All-Academic Team, finished his year with three top-20 finishes. He also tied for fourth in the Xavier Invitational with fellow Hilltopper Nic Hofman. The junior finished his season with a 74.0 stroke average and maintained a 3.96 GPA while majoring in biology.
The Men’s Golf program has been no stranger to excellence off of the course throughout this year as they were one of three WKU programs to earn the CUSA All-Academic Team Award after posting a 3.42 GPA as a team. All four members were also named to the CUSA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for this season.
