Both Barren County’s and Glasgow’s boys’ golfers hit the links at Shady Hollow Golf Course on Saturday in the Raider Invitational. The Trojans finished 10th out of 20 teams with a 335, while Glasgow was 15th with a 361.
Braeden Furlong led Barren with a 75, while Cameron Pippen fired a 79, Jacob Spence shot 87, JP Ross posted a 94 and Jay Houchens finished with a 98.
For Glasgow, Griffin Jackson shot a 78, while Harrison Belcher fired 83, and Sam Allen, Tucker Garrett and Jackson Norris each finished with a 100.
Zach Sloan of Hart County won the individual title with a 68, which was three strokes ahead of Johnny Brown of Bowling Green, who finished second.
North Laurel won the team title with a 297, while Bowling Green finished second with a 310.
Barren County returns to action Tuesday with a home match against Adair County, while Glasgow will be back in action Thursday with a match against Allen County-Scottsville at Scottsville Country Club.
