The Barren County boys’ golf team dropped a match at Lakewood Country Club to Russell County, 156-172. The loss dropped the Trojans to 2-2 in South Central Conference action.
Braeden Furlong led Barren with a 36 through nine holes. Cameron Pippen shot 41, while Jay Houchens fired 47, JP Ross posted a 48 and Jacob Spence finished with a 51.
The Trojans will be back in action Saturday in the Franklin-Simpson Invitational at Franklin Country Club.
