BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Women’s Golf head coach Adam Gary has announced their fall and spring slate for the 2024-25 year.
“I’m excited for this upcoming season. This is our strongest schedule ever,” said Gary. “My goal is to push our players as much as possible, competition makes teams better and I can’t wait to see where we stack up this season.”
The Lady Toppers will open up the year at the Boilermaker Classic hosted by Purdue on September 1st. This is the second straight year that the Lady Tops have traveled to West Lafayette to kick off the season. The Red and White will then travel to Louisville to compete in the Cardinal Cup for the first time since 2019.
To close out September, WKU will travel to South Carolina for the Lady Paladin Invitational. It will be the fourth season the Lady Toppers have competed in the Furman tournament. They will try to top the runner-up finish they turned in at the tournament last season.
WKU will take on the Princess Anne Invitational in early October. The tournament is hosted by Old Dominion. Wrapping up the fall season, Coach Gary’s squad will travel to West Point, Mississippi to compete in The Ally which is hosted by Mississippi State.
The Lady Tops open the spring with the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational, hosted by Mercer. The Lady Tops turned in a runner-up finish in that tourney last season. Following this, WKU will then travel to Jacksonville, Florida for the UNF Collegiate, which has become a staple of a Lady Topper Golf schedule, followed by its very own Spring Break Shootout which the Lady Toppers are reigning champions of on March 17 and 18.
WKU will travel to St. Augustine, Florida to compete in the Coach Mo Classic, hosted by Furman. To round out the regular season, the Lady Tops will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee to compete in the one-day, 36-hole Tennessee Spring Challenge hosted by the University of Tennessee.
WKU will compete for a Conference USA Championship between April 14 and 16. The Lady Toppers finished third in the tournament last season and had three players finish in the top-15. The location of the tournament is yet to be announced.
