Three Barren County girls’ soccer players were named to the All-Region 4 Girls’ teams.
Senior defender Lizzie Smith landed on the first team, while senior midfielders Laney Wheeler and freshman goalie Laney Lockhart were honorable mentions.
The Trojanettes fell in the first round of the Region 4 Tournament, 7-1, to eventual regional champ Bowling Green. Barren finished the season at 10-8-1. They were also 15th District runners up.
Caroline Drexel of Greenwood was named the region’s player of the year.
