Chloe Witcher shot her lowest round of the season and won her first individual title in the process.
The Barren County sophomore posted a 74 and held off Madison Central’s Mollie Meeley by a stroke to be medalist at Eagle’s Nest Country Club.
Madison Central captured the team title with a 309, while fellow Region 3 foe Bowling Green finished second with a 332. The Trojanettes finished fourth with a team total score of 360 in the Pulaski County Invitational.
After Witcher, Tinsley Neagle shot 90, Kinsey Edwards fired 96, Lucy Zalla posted a 100, and Allie Spillman finished with a 105. Playing as individuals, Karden Kinslow shot 102, and Rayleigh Tarry finished with a 119.
Glasgow also played in the tournament. For the Lady Scotties, Emory Gardner led with a 98, while Reese Chaney shot 128, Abrielle Zurek fired 135, and Korah Grace Jones finished with a 144.
Both Barren and Glasgow are scheduled to play at Lakewood Country Club in Russell Springs this Saturday in the Women’s Kentucky Invitational.
