The Barren County boys’ golf team dropped its second South Central Conference match to Green County on Thursday.
On their home course at Barren River State Park, the Trojans fell to the Dragons, 165-172. Braeden Furlong led Barren County with a 35 through nine holes.
Also for the Trojans, Cameron Pippen fired 44, Jacob Spence shot 46, and JP Ross finished with a 47.
In other conference matches Thursday, Adair County beat Cumberland County, 155-158; Russell County downed Metcalfe County, 154-159; and Warren East shot 176 to beat Monroe County, which scratched the match.
On Monday, Russell County beat Monroe County, 167-194, to remain undefeated in conference matches.
Barren County will be back in action Tuesday at Dale Hollow State Park against Cumberland County.
