Barren County softball players and and head coach Daryl Murphy collected several post-season Fourth Region awards.
Murphy was named the softball coach of the year in the region, while Riley Reed won the golden glove award. Both awards were voted on by softball coaches in the region. These awards were in conjunction with the regular season first and second teams.
Katie Murphy was voted the softball player of the year by the Fourth Region Coaches Association.
Gracie Myatt, Shea Bogue, Mia Long and Katie Murphy were named to the Fourth Region Softball All-Tournament team.
